A collection of amazing cathedrals

One of the things that always amazes the two of us when we visit some of the great cities across the Europe is their cathedrals. Not purely their sheer scale and often beauty but to try and understand how, many 100s of years ago, without the technology of today they were built. They are true testament to mankinds ingenuity. Here are just a few of our favourites so far......

Cologne Cathedral - Kolner Dom
St-Baafskathedraal, Ghent

The Pfalz, Aachen

Valencia cathedral

St Mary's Cathedral, Segovia

Seville cathedral

Granada cathedral

Cordoba Mezquita

Toledo cathedral

Catedral Nueva, Salamanca

Duomo, Siena

Stephansdom, Vienna

Cathedrale Notre-Dame, Luxembourg City

St-Salvatorkathedraal, Bruges
Westminster Abbey, London

St. Paul's Cathedral, London

Santa Maria del Fiore, Florence
